12 April General Meeting of the Jacksonville Orchid Society
The April JOS General Meeting will be conducted as a Hands-On Mounting Clinic.
We expect a large turnout this month and are revising the format to fit the Mounting Clinic and expected turn out.
This month Changes:
- NO Show Table
- NO Raffle Table
- Silent Auction (two orchids only) is appropriate
- Member Sale of Orchids is appropriate.
JOS Mounting Clinic
When: April 12, 2022. Doors open at 5:30pm
Cost: $10 for plant/plaque; $5 to mount your own orchid on provided plaque
Where: Mandarin Garden Club

This is our premier post-show event! Please get it on your calendar and RSVP before the spots are gone. JOS has purchased plants (SEE BELOW) and cypress/cedar plaques for the first 50 members who sign up. I already have a list going!
UPDATE: 40 PLANTS ARE SPOKEN FOR ALREADY! CALL LOIS NOW TO RESERVE YOURS IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY DONE SO.
This will be a ‘hands on program’ where you will be in a small group with a mentor who will guide you through the process of mounting your orchid.
We will have a brief business meeting first and will then begin promptly at 7pm.
This is expected to be a highly attended event. Members, Please call/text me to confirm your place, plant/plaque as soon as possible. The cost is $10pp.
We will provide all necessary equipment to complete your project. Once I receive 50 RSVPs, the plants will be gone. You are welcome to bring your own plant and plaque and we will teach you how to mount it. OR bring your own plant and use one of our plaques ($5).
